Page 101

Sorry about the delayed post, folks. I had no idea until someone commented on it, but I missed an update, so it’s been nearly a month since I last posted a page. I don’t know exactly what it says about me, but I’ve never missed a post because I didn’t have a page ready to go–but I’ve missed several from just being scatterbrained.

On other fronts: I’ve just started approaching publishers about a possible print edition of Oyster War. I’m not sure when/if this will bear any fruit, but I’m just beginning the process. I never use the “shotgun” approach for this kind of thing, so I’m approaching one publisher at a time, starting with a publisher I’d very much like to get involved with. Getting published is a tough, uphill climb, though. Wish me luck!

I have an old friend from Chapel Hill who works in the NY publishing world. I sent her a link and will let you know any info she provides.

Thanks, Scott – I’ve got some likely candidates in the comics-specific publishing world as well. I’ve managed (knock on wood!) to hook up with good publishers for my previous projects, so we’ll see how it goes…

Please come back, I miss you Oyster War.

Arghh! You’re right. I missed my post on Wednesday. I’ll post a page today!

I for sure haven’t gone anywhere. I’ve been madly drawing away, trying to get Oyster War wrapped up. I’ve got about ten more pages to pencil and ink.

Yes, thank you! I love this comic. It’s rare that we can get something with as good of a quality for free. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the kind words, Liz! I’m glad you’re digging the comic. There’s about 35 pages to go at this point and I’ve penciled and inked about 20 of those so far. I’m closing in on “THE END”!
